Designing Interaction Patterns, Layout & Structure

KPMG partnering with a startup called eTaskr, set out to build a Capabilities Marketplace that would allow a network of large companies, to share talent between them, enabling the sharing of high-demand skill sets, giving these staff members the ability to diversify their exposure and in the long-run reduce turn-over through poaching or staff boredom. eTaskr, backed by Dodo Investments, set out to build this marketplace in collaboration with KPMG and their network of similar strata companies in Melbourne.

Have we thought of everything? Wanting to make sure our devs were never left building an interaction that was lacking, I mapped out the flows across all players of the system, through all the tasks they would perform, including crossovers/all perspectives of the same task, and identified and catalogued all notifications, from [E] emails, to [M] Markers, to [IM] internal (inbox) messages, and [N] notifications.
A little fun side project to mapping the notifications was to be able to design the copy, experience and presentation of all email communications from the Marketplace system to it's users. Using my prior experience with Symantec EDMs, I designed and helped build the dynamic email templates to give the Marketplace Podium a professional polished look.
