Australia Post | Emerging Products

Australia Post is an Australian insitution, being the most trusted and widespread service in Australia. There is even a post drop box on a platform in the middle of the Great Barrier Reef! In more recent times it has seen a massive decrease in the postage of hardmail, and thus AusPost has been forced to focus mainly on it’s parcel delivery business whilst trying to break into the digital space and diversify it’s product/service offerings.

As part of the innovation movement, I was brought in as the UXer for the team that would establish the Sprint methodology within this Innovation sector of Australia Post. We were tasked to come up with POCs (proof of concepts) for new tech products that the organization could take forward. My role in the team, was to hold up the UX side of sprints, by performing user research, analysis, ideation, solution exploration through design, and validation.
